Call to Worship

Leader: I will give you thanks with all my heart;
Congregation: I will sing your praise before the heavenly beings.
Leader: I will bow down toward your holy temple
Congregation: and give thanks to your name
Leader: for your constant love and truth.
Congregation: You have exalted your name
Leader: and your promise above everything else

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Leader: Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Congregation: Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.
